Diving
The diving that can be found around the reefs and in the channels and lagoons of the Mackerel Islands is absolutely world class. It is an underwater wonderland of life and colour, with a wide variety of sites catering to both novice and experienced scuba divers, as well as those just wanting to snorkel.
Endless time can be spent in the pristine waters of the Mackerels exploring the clumps of coral and diverse array of fish of all colours, large and small. Diving and snorkeling gear is available for hire and tanks can be refilled at Thevenard. Dive charters are available with new dive school Scubaroo Dive (see below). Diving courses are also available.
