Boat fishing around the Mackerel Islands group is the ultimate experience for a keen fisher and we offer some of the best fishing charters in Western Australia. If you don't have your own boat there are a couple of options available to you.
One of the best ways to experience the species rich waters surrounding the Mackerel Islands is by boat charter. Our experienced skipper can take you to our favourite fishing spots including the famous Rosily Cay, or let you in on our secret snorkelling bays home to resident Coral Trout and Tropical Crayfish, or just take you to an uninhabited island where you can explore the pristine beaches and enjoy the lunch provided.
All charters are conducted on the Mackerel Islands charter vessel Thevenard1 which is a comfortable 8.2m Leisurecat.

Explore Thevenard Island’s marine playground for yourself on one of the islands 4.6m Plaka Boats. The stable Plaka Boats are ideal for snorkelling, fly-fishing, catching a fish for tea or just taking in the unique surroundings. Comfortably suitable for up to 4 Adults, they make a great day out.
